We're all moved in to our new place. Well, except for a few boxes that haven't been unpacked yet. Here is a picture of our messy living room and John relaxing after a hard day of putting everything together. He starts his first day at EPG tomorrow!

Oliver had his 2 month Dr's appointment yesterday. He weighed in at 11 pounds 4 ounces and is now 23 inches long. The doc said he looked great! He got 4 shots, 2 in each leg and was very good for the nurse. He was sleepy all afternoon but didn't fuss too much.
We're all moving to Salt Lake City this weekend and there is a lot of packing to still be done. We may be not have an internet connection for a little while. Grandpa Ernie and Grandma Susan are coming next Friday to visit and we are excited to see them!

Wednesday

Yesterday Ollie was 6 weeks old. He wore his new outfit from Grammie Trish and was told how handsome he was by Dr Huggins. I think he knows how handsome he is. He has been sleeping much better through the night these days. I think we could almost say he has a night schedule... He was very excited to meet a bunch of family members this past weekend although he was a little bit overwhelmed. So many cousins! He did very good on the airplane and his mom was proud of him. He can't wait to see them all again in August for Uncle Dan's wedding. Grandpa Earl is doing much better after the open heart surgery last Thursday. He's back at home and taking it one day at a time...

Oliver loves his new camo outfit from Grandpa Ernie. We had a hard time finding him when he fell asleep near our forest of plants in the dining room. It's a good thing he had those black socks on!

Oliver has been amazing over the past few days! He's been sleeping better at night, he smiles all the time (at least when he's filling the diaper), and his eyes are getting much better as he loves to watch his mom work on her juggling routine in front of the fire place. We're all feeling much more rested and I think we may be getting the hang of this parenting thing!

He'll be 5 weeks tomorrow and if I haven't said it enough already, he's just growing so fast!

What do you suppose this look means?

Not much new to report. Dusty, Lisa and Emmerson have been here this week and have been cooking great meals for us! It's so nice to have good friends around. Emmerson is awesome! She is pulling herself up and laughs all the time! She also puts her index finger in her mouth like she's constantly pondering something. It's probably b/c her tooth is coming in, but it may be that she knows something important that the rest of us overlook...
We got an inch of snow last night! Spring keeps teasing us with a nice day or two and then the snow and wind force us back inside. We're definitely insiders these days anyways.

Emmerson has picked the bookshelf as her favorite spot in our apartment.

Monday

Had to take Ollie in for a blood test and he weighed in at 9 pounds already!

update

Oliver had his two week pediatrician appointment on Friday and he already weighs in at 8 pounds, 10 ounces! He eats like a little monster so this shouldn't really be a surprise to me. Dusty, Lisa and Emmerson are heading from Portland to visit us for the week so we are all excited about that! Hopefully we can set the stage for an arranged marriage between Oliver and Emmerson in oh about 25 years. We are planning to stay in with D, L and E for Easter and make ourselves a good meal and have some quality friend time. I will post more pictures later in the week as I'm sure we'll be taking lot's!
